Supporting Sisters of the Road

Purpose & Mission

We support programs and events for Sisters of the Road, who's mission is: "Sisters of the Road exists to build authentic relationships and aleviate the hunger of isolation in an atmosphere of nonviolence and gentle personalism that nurtures the whole individual toward changes that will reach the root of his/her homelessness and poverty and end it forever"

Since 2006, volunteers have participated in selling meal tickets, working in the Cafe & participating in an annual hygiene program

Connie has been active with New Thought Center for Spiritual Living since 2004. She is an active volunteer in many areas within our community, including: The Peace Now Team, a volunteer in Children's Ministry, as well as several outreach activities with Sisters of The Road, The Commonway Institute and the Inter-Religious Action Network.
