This mind-body spirit workshop on the healing power of music speaks to the universal energy that binds Spirit, Soul, and Body which are fundamental to New Thought Creative Process.

Sharon Eng has held principal viola positions in many parts of the world, among them: Jakarta Chamber Orchestra, New York City Symphony, and the Polish Sinfonietta in Poznan, with whom she toured China on two occasions. For 14 years, Dr. Eng directed the Middle and High School strings programs at Jakarta International School, conducting her orchestras to rave reviews in Bangkok, Budapest, London, Rome, Shanghai, Singapore and Vienna. Sharon holds BMus and MMus degrees in viola performance from the Juilliard School, is an active chamber recitalist in the United States and abroad, teaches violin/viola at Multnomah Arts Center and plays with the Raphael Spiro Quartet (www.raphaelspirostringquartet.org). She has been on the faculty of the International Music Institute and Festival at Mount St. Mary's University at Emmitsburg, Maryland since 2002 (www.imif.us).

David Eby

David Eby, cellist, conductor, teacher and writer, has been exploring the connections between music, consciousness and healing through his work as music director of Ananda Worldwide, working with choirs of meditators for 20 years. After earning performance degrees and honors from Eastman and Indiana University, he became the founding cellist for Pink Martini, and currently performs with the Bodhi Trio, Oregon Symphony and Portland Cello Project. He teaches at Lewis & Clark College and Lake Oswego School District, and was featured in the Hollywood film, Finding Happiness. His music workshops have been met with great acclaim on both the East and West Coasts, teaching how to tap into a genuine experience of the Divine through music and meditation.
