Gaia Mather is a native of Portland, Oregon who has been involved with New Thought for twenty years. Prior to becoming a member of NTCSL she was a member of the Living Enrichment Center where she started out as a greeter, then went on to join the choir and later graduated from the Chaplaincy program. She still loves singing with the choir and considers them an important part of her spiritual family.
Gaia is a Naturopathic physician and teaches at the National College of Natural Medicine, where she graduated in 1990. Holistic medicine encompasses a philosophy that is of special importance to her – that all life is sacred and all life is connected. Gaia enjoys treating her ‘animal family’ which consists of one small Boston terrier and 3 cats with Naturopathic remedies to keep them healthy and happy.

Gaia has become a big fan of the NTCSL Women’s Campout held each summer. Each year brings new people and new events and new opportunities to connect on a deeper level with other women of the church community. Being a long time member of a local women spiritual circle, she knows the magic that happens as women gather to share their gifts and wisdom.

"

I embody the principles of New Thought in my everyday life and it makes such a positive difference in all that I do and all that I touch -- in my counseling practice and in my spiritual practitioner practice.
