Spirit at Work

Spirit at Work provides support for business owners, the self-employed, and employed workers to bring more Spirit into their workplaces and to expand the knowledge in our spiritual community about each others’ vocations and avocations.

Purpose & Mission

Spirit at Work builds community by: Inspiring and supporting our business owners and others who serve in the workplace; learning to pray for ourselves, others, and situations with the eyes and heart of God; encouraging and supporting prosperity consciousness in everyone we meet. Our mission is to be a blessing in our work lives as we embody the spiritual principles we so generously receive at New Thought Center for Spiritual Living.

About Us

This group came directly out of November 2007 visioning on community-building. It is an ongoing co-creation of all its participants. We meet on the 4th Sunday of the month following second service.

At our meetings we: Get acquainted with each other as to what and why we do what we do as a vocation; support each other in creating, reviewing and renewing our personal mission statements; practice “elevator speeches” for our various endeavors; learn in depth about each others’ work; and support people who are considering starting a business or changing their work situation.
