The Power of Prayer Partnership at 7:00 pm

Wherever two or more… The simple truth is: It is much easier to know the truth, really know it, for my partner than for myself and visa versa- it is much easier for him to know it for me than for himself. With a partner - prayer really gets traction with practice. Come hear some of the things that make for a good partnership, how to let go of old stories of exhaustive effort and suffering and live with effortless ease through prayer.

After a six month absence from Portland and NTCSL, I returned in February 2013.  The gift of that "separation" is knowing that this is right where I belong.  I will do what is mine to do to support this community that has supported me and all of us in our Divine Unfolding.

My service experience ranges from being a member of The Northwest Academy Development Committee, and serving as Board Chair of the school's art gallery, The Angry Pigeon.  Other service commitments include personal, local, and world service for 12 Step Fellowships, including serving as the national representative to an upcoming World Service Conference.

Recently, I started a Wednesday night Life Group:  New Thought 12 Steps. I have taken two NTCSL courses, Foundations and Financial Freedom.

I attended Muskingum College and the University of Cincinnati majoring in Philosophy. I am currently the owner of several small businesses, that include the Buffalo Wings Clothing Co. located in Portland, in the Pearl.

I am a native Oregonian who was born and grew up in NE Oregon. The middle child of a family of nine that lived on a ranch and went to a two- room school house through the sixth grade and St. Francis Academy (Catholic School) through high school. Went to a community college for a year and received an appointment to and went to the United States Military Academy at West Point for two years before resigning. Continued undergraduate and graduate studies until 1972 when I received a General Engineering degree from Oregon State University. At twenty-eight a dear friend asked me to join her in Quest - a very intense personal growth fellowship. It was a wonderful awakening. I met my wife Carol who also participated in Quest. After 9 years and four jobs working in manufacturing, in March of 1981 I started Serbaco, Inc. in partnership with my father-in-law. As the very much hands-on owner and president for over 36 years

I’ve been grown and blessed with wonderful learning experiences and relationships with the most wonderful people. I got my Pilot’s license in 1976 and after owning eight different airplanes have flown more than 4000 hours as Pilot In Command and still dearly love to fly. I’ve continued my education mostly in leadership studies, with some study of finance, science, technology and creative writing. In 1988 Mary Morrisey was giving a talk about the spiritual practice when I showed up at my first New Thought service. I’ve been coming ever since and now know that these are the principles, this is the truth about me and all life and this is the way to be transformed and make the world a better place.
