Rev. Shannon O’Hurley served as an Associate Minister at NTCSL where she was Director of both the Practitioner and Education Programs. She then went on to become an Associate Minister at Mile Hi Church in Colorado. There she created and directed the Interfaith & Multicultural Ministry, the Social Justice Advocacy and Diversity Programs, taught ministerial students, and wrote a plethora of workshops and curriculum.
She holds a masters degree in Consciousness Studies and a second masters in Conflict Resolution and Peace-building with an emphasis in Social Advocacy and Interreligious Dialogue.
In 2017, she had the great good fortune to meet President Obama and was invited to serve as the Director for the State of Colorado for his non-profit, Organizing for Action, where she supported refugees, Dreamers, and worked to ensure Equal Rights for Women and the LGBTQ populations. She is a passionate advocate for Human Dignity for all people and her ministry is dedicated to creating a world that works for everyone.
