Authentic living empowers the full realization of our innately given and divinely ordained soul-based inner worth. It likewise supports the full expression of our socially acquired and projected worldly worth. It is thus that our being and our doing both emerge in divine congruence. Join us for a divinely inspired evening of meditation and chanting.
If being in the silence is a significant practice in your life, yet it sometimes gets crowded out very easily, you might enjoy the style of worship created by the community of Taizé in France. Taizé worship is based around structured rhythms of contemplation and silence that provide a way to “turn off the buzz” of our daily lives and experience a new depth of prayer. We would love to have you join us for this special service of prayer, music, and silence.
The origins of Taize began in a little village in Burgundy France over 60 years ago, when Brother Roger Shultz founded a community devoted to prayer and living a parable of reconciliation with the church and within the human family. Thus, the Taize service is inclusive and ecumenical with persons of all faiths being invited.
