Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian is a spiritual teacher, poet, writer, and the spiritual director of Center for Spiritual Enlightenment—a Kriya Yoga Meditation Center with headquarters in San Jose, California. She teaches nationally and internationally and has received several community service awards, including the 2015 Mahatma Gandhi Award for the Promotion of Religious Pluralism. Her message is “engaged enlightenment” – an invitation to live a spiritually awake, creatively inspired and fulfilled life, now.

Along with her service as a meditation teacher and esteemed Yogacharya, Ellen Grace O’Brian is the Founder and President of Carry the Vision, a community nonviolence educational project bringing meditation instruction to staff and children in schools, the prison population, and other segments of society. She is the founder and President of Meru Institute, providing lifestyle education and leadership training in yoga studies, Ayurveda, and community service. She holds a Masters Degree in Education, with an emphasis in Transpersonal Counseling.

Yogacharya O’Brian’s published works include Living the Eternal Way: Spiritual Meaning and Practice in Daily Life and Living for the Sake of the Soul, and three volumes of poetry including the award-winning 2017 release: The Moon Reminded Me. She is editor of Enlightenment Journal and host of The Yoga Hour, a weekly podcast.

Rev Willow Scott

Reverend Willow Scott has been an Independent New Thought Minister since 2004. As a lifelong student of metaphysics, and a student of the school of hard knocks, Rev Willow brings a passion for spiritual healing, along with a lot of heart and grit into her ministerial work. She has been a practitioner of A Course in Miracles since 1982 and a teacher of ACIM since 2007. She founded the Love Church of Maui, an Independent New Thought Ministry, in 2005 and led a small diverse congregation for 2 years. Currently Rev Willow is co-founder and senior Minister of the non profit One Love LGBTQ Youth Outreach Services. One Love focuses on helping LGBTQ youth who have been displaced and harmed by fundamentalist religions.

Mandy is an energetic healer as well as the owner of Body Mechanics Pilates and Bodywork in Portland, OR. Body Mechanics is a Pilates Studio and Wellness Center that offers sanctuary for people to allow the unfolding of their own transformation to take place. Harris Zafar

Harris Zafar is National Spokesperson for Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA – among the oldest Muslim organizations in America – and author of book “Demystifying Islam: Tackling the Tough Questions.” Harris addresses issues facing Islam and the Muslim world in various media while also elucidating Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s global efforts towards pluralism and understanding. A staunch advocate for universal human rights, Harris was praised in a March 2012 motion raised on the floor of the House of Commons in Great Britain for his work defending religious freedom.

From college campuses like Harvard, Yale and Carnegie Mellon to interfaith services, churches and other public events, Harris has spoken across the United States and internationally. He is also an Adjunct Instructor of Islamic Studies at two colleges, instructing courses about the teachings of Islam and the history of both the religion and its Prophet Muhammad. From Fox News and CNN to syndicated radio programs, he regularly appears on national and local news in print, TV and radio to provide insight on current issues from an Islamic perspective and to condemn intolerance and human rights abuses, especially when done in the name of religion.

Son of Pakistani parents, Harris was born and raised in the United States and maintains his identity as a Muslim and an American by following Islam’s commandment to be a loyal citizen of the country in which one resides. He is married with three beautiful children and currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
