NTCSL Prayer Shawl Ministry

Sometimes, a little comfort can mean everything.

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry creates hand-knit and crocheted shawls filled with love, care, and prayer. As each shawl is made, the maker holds the recipient in loving intention, weaving thoughts of wholeness, healing, peace, and comfort into every stitch.

Prayer shawls may be given to someone moving through illness, grief, loss, a difficult transition, or simply a time when they could use a tangible reminder that they are surrounded by love and community.

Create a Prayer Shawl

Experienced knitters and crocheters are invited to help create prayer shawls for members of our community who are experiencing illness, grief, transition, or another time when a little extra comfort and care is needed.
